‣‣ FESTIVAL FASHION: ACCESSORIES ‣‣

These next few days are the final countdown leading up to Coachella, and boy am I excited!! (Even though I'm not going until weekend 2) I just get really excited to see everyone's feeds full of their fashion choices this year…. In a sense, it's my New York fashion week— or the festival equivalent to the Oscar's red carpet ceremony. I just wanna see what the ladies are wearing! 

With that being said—  half of a truly inspirational Coachella outfit, is how you're accessorizing! And the smartest people (in my opinion) are the ones who dress comfortably (no wardrobe malfunctions, please) but accessorize like a boss…

So with limited time before you weekend one-ers are heading out to the dessert, I wanted to share some jewelry from two local designer favorites of mine; that way, if you're in the OC you can stop by and pick these gems up quick-stat….and for the rest of you (even the non-festival goers) online ordering is available too! 

ROPE THE MOON JEWELRY

Based right here out of Newport Beach, CA, Rope the Moon Jewelry's pieces are a blend of Native American bohemian perfection! I'm actually 80% certain that the designer is my long-lost soul sister….because she certainly knows what I look for in jewelry. Her collections can best be described as the perfect combination of bad-bitch-edginess and  delicate femininity. Most of her work (as I said before) has a very specific "southwestern" touch to them. So if turqouise, suede, or bright pops of color really aren't your thing, then you might not be the biggest fan. But, for festival purposes (or year-round if you're me) they make for excellent boho-bling! Some looks I love:

When I'm playing up a certain accessory (in my case it's typically bracelets….occasionally necklaces) I really like to keep other accessories simple. I apply the same rule to my jewelry-sense that I do to my makeup tips: if something is bold, the rest stays basic!
